Pepper is a Plugboy that resides in TV-World, and their light-world version is the powerstrip that Asriel's computer is plugged into. They work at Tenna's studio as the only janitor, and live both in-studio in the back of the janitor closet, and also in a small apartment within Mainframe Flats - an apartment complex derived from Asriel's computer tower - though often staying more in the janitor closet for ease-of-access.

They are taller than the average plugboy, though still stand short against all other darkners. Their fur is a brick red, and their plastic is an yellowed off-white. Their fur is more coarse than soft. Their work outfit is a pair of grey overalls, and yellow rubber boots and gloves. Out of work, they wear casual and comfort wear, not particularly focusing on fashion.

Majority of the time, they stay as a plugboy, but will temporarily werewire to help with charging things (and rarely darkners) in the studio. They do not particularly enjoy werewiring, as they lose their sense of sight and ability to speak, but it would be hard for them to say they really hate it. They refuse to werewerewire, however. Pepper has a somewhat delayed "de-werewiring" process, in which they still retain some werewire features for about an hour after werewiring, like a somewhat more elongated torso or limbs, markings on their fur, or residuals of claws on thier limbs.
